These is because of Incomplete Surgical Excision due to Thin walled, Greater friability, Multisepted and Multicystic ,Closer proximity to important structure, It's extension and involvement of vital structures ,Smaller surgical field, thinner wall, and of floor of mouth. and Tumor Biology

• Partial removal of lymphangioma has reccurance rate of 21 to 88%.
• Even with appropriate surgery, recurrence rates of thyroidglossal Duct Cyst range from 1% to 3%.
• Recurrent benign thyroid nodule may occur 7.3%
• Simple marsupialization for mucocele has failure rate of 61% to 89%.
• Benign parotid tumors reccurance rate is less than five percent.
• Dermoid cyst of floor of mouth recurrence rate is very low and is usually related to bone remnant of the genial tubercles of e hyoid bone.
